These include all the tests for determining the engineering behaviour of the soil and rock. Some of these tests include triaxial tests for both soil & rock, point load index of rock, crushing strength of rock, consistency limits, gradation, special tests for expansive soils etc. Also the chemical tests to check the impurities in soil and water are performed. The chemical tests to decide the concrete setting suitability along with the concrete cube test form the laboratory testing activities.
